Kristen Stewart in Brazil yesterday

This outfit is adorable, I love every single thing about it.

I have a real problem with Kristen Stewart wearing a picture of a handgun in Brazil (or anywhere frankly). This is a country with a HUGE violence problem, and this is a young celebrity who kids look up to. With a picture of a gun. Yeah, what’s not to like?

I am sick and tired of glorifying these ridiculous celebrities who have no conception of the impact they have on society.

FAIL

Seriously?

Yes seriously. The United States is first in the world with gun-related deaths per 100,000 people (14.24). Brazil is second (12.95).

Maybe she can wear a shirt with…I don’t know…ANYTHING else on it.

I would be shocked — shocked — if her selection of attire led to a single incremental gun-related death. Shocked. Worry about something else.

Ok. I don’t know who this is, and clearly, she’s not in Brazil, but that aside: the img is of a revolver - clearly you’re objecting to the six shooter as a graphical shorthand for the notion of Manifest Destiny? Because it inappropriately celebrates oppression / violence during westward expansion? Likewise, I think we should all wear a drawing of an acoustic coupler to promote high-speed internet access penetration around the world.

PS. None of you play first-person shooter games, either, right?
